Recent Verizon changes---
I saw you added some changes that haven't occurred for me yet. I know some of these changes may be rolled out in phases but I am still getting ESPN Classic and my notification still says it's removal will be on or after March 14th. I am on the downstate New York system.
Figured the dates would be closer. Considering ESPN Classic's removal is tied to the new Disney-Verizon contract which I guess includes adding ACC Network when it launches (I know that's in the Altice deal). I think the only question is whether the deal will see Disney Junior HD added. Longislandmedia (talk)
- yes, I hope it does, because if it doesn’t, we may never see it. Technically longhorn too, but I’m shocked they didn’t just drop that completely since Fios isn’t in TX anymore. Branch (talk) 23:08, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- Longhorn is in HD on the Texas system which was sold to Frontier. On the remaining Fios systems since it's in the premium tier and is out-of-market. Fios should have the national NESN feed in HD like other providers do. Frontier's distribution of Longhorn is just limited to the FL, TX, and CA systems when they purchased them from Verizon. Frontier has 4 different lineups between the two groups of Fios systems acquired at different times, the Vantage system in Connecticut built on the old U-Verse infrastructure. And there are the other Vantage systems that Frontier has built but the channel guides don't make it clear which channels are in HD and which are only in SD. --Longislandmedia (talk) 04:26, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
