Wikipedia Links

I have been maintaining the Over-the-Air Channel lists for Baltimore, MD, and Washington, DC. I see you have gone in and added Wikipedia links to the Baltimore chart. The method you use prevents us from getting a clean printout of the chart because those full links appear on the printout. Could the links be removed or another method used? Thanks! Randyreed0220

Hi! Does clicking Printable Version on the left not work? If not, let me know and I’ll look into alternate options that allow for links, but don’t mess up printable versions. Thanks! Branch (talk) 18:10, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

No. It doesn't matter how I print it, including using Printable Version, it still shows the links. Thanks for your help.

ok. I’ll work with the other admins this week on a solution and post back here by Friday. Ping me then if I haven’t posted. Thanks so much. Branch (talk) 03:25, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
just to give you an update—- one of our css files will be updated this week to fix this issue and vastly improve the way pages print. I’ll post back here when the changes take effect. Thanks! Branch (talk) 19:48, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
@Randyreed0220: Sorry for the delay. We're still investigating the cause of the URL expansion-- our print.css changes improved the print layout, but didn't fix the URL issue. Thanks for your patience. Branch (talk) 04:12, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
Hi @Randyreed0220: and @Branch: This is fixed now. If you're still getting the expanded links, try doing a full refresh (Ctrl+Refresh button in Chrome). Tvchannellists (talk) 04:51, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

Optimum lineups

I finally have the current lineups for all the Altice/Optimum systems posted. Just took some time to update for Fusion's return and the Univision Deportes to TUDN rebrand. I just have been able to connect the links to the Altice page since it still only links to Islip/Woodbury. Note, I separated the Hamilton system into Philadelphia and New York DMA versions. --Longislandmedia (talk) 03:10, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

Hi! I don’t see the links on the Altice page, unless I’m missing something. Thanks so much for working on this! Branch (talk) 19:47, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

That's what I was having trouble with. Attaching the links to the Altice page since only the Woodbury/Islip lineup was there before I created the other pages. They are all on the recent changes list. I didn't know how to link them on the Altice page. --Longislandmedia (talk) 20:44, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

I think you can just get rid of the placeholder location names for the pages you created and link like normal. Does that work? Branch (talk) 20:48, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

To be honest, I don't know how to do it. I know I can create the page but not link it elsewhere. --Longislandmedia (talk) 20:50, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

When you’re editing a page, highlight the text you want to link, then press the link button in the edit bar, the bar with Bold, Italics, etc. Change the Target Page to be the name of the page you want to link to. Let me know if that doesn’t work, and I can help do it tonight. Branch (talk) 20:56, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

I just tried to do it but it didn't work because I used the page names as I created them but all the links are red. --Longislandmedia (talk) 04:33, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

I’ll take a look this weekend. That’s really weird. Branch (talk) 00:53, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
@Longislandmedia: This appears to be because there was no space before the open bracket. I did Litchfield as a test and it seems to be working now: Litchfield Tvchannellists (talk) 02:10, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
I've now gone through and renamed all pages, plus fixed up various other inconsistencies in the links (e.g. word order, casing, spelling, etc.) and every listing is now properly linked. Tvchannellists (talk) 02:27, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
Now it looks like the links to the Suddenlink pages are now broken since they were working before. I didn't do the Suddenlink pages since they are all well outside my area. --Longislandmedia (talk) 01:18, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
I updated logos and formatting on the page. The Suddenlink have been broken for a while. I’ll fix or remove tomorrow. Branch (talk) 01:21, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
@Tvchannellists: can you take a look at those suddenlink links? they're broken too, but there is a space where there should be. Branch (talk) 04:11, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
@Branch: Looks like it was a casing issue ("Of" instead of "of"). All fixed now. Tvchannellists (talk) 04:33, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

Mnet America/ Folk tv

I noticed that you removed my notes on the renamed Mnet America. I have noticed that it has gone the way of Blue Highways TV when it was absorbed replaced by Laff. During the summer, the programming was changed from the K-pop/Korean programming to the old reruns of Folk TV with the k-pop videos relegated to the overnight hours which is when it was changed to Hapa including a Hapa bug in all programming. And then just before Christmas the K-pop programming was dropped altogether and it became a full simulcast of Folk tv with the Folk TV bug even if the Verizon guide still was calling it Mnet America. If you go to Folk tv's website and go to their schedule section, they acknowledge that Folk tv, Mnet, and Hapa are essentially the same channel. If you put on channel 229, you should see that all the identification is as Folk TV. My last Fios bill did say that on July 16th that channel 229-Folk TV would be removed. These changes would also apply to the California, Florida, and Texas Frontier systems although I have no information or confirmation if they will be dropping the channel in July as well.
