Helicon Cable Communications was a cable television provider based out of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and serviced parts of Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia, until its acquisition and buyout by Charter Communications in 1999, though the company stayed in operation for several years after the acquisition. In Anderson, South Carolina, customers here had access to 65 channels in March of 1998. Charter continues to service the city to this day under the name Spectrum.
