Branding

Recently, it looks like Eurosport has quietly changed their branding and is now using a black logo, similarly to Viasat dropping the gradients. This change was communicated to United Group (which has replaced the logo on epg.sbb.rs), and the black branding is also seen on new idents and their website. Should I change the logos and move the previous ones to new files? If it was applicable for Viasat's channels I don't see why it wouldn't be applicable here. --Rat in a cage (talk) 22:52, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

Because they have always been white transparent on-screen, I said "branding". Black doesn't work for on-screen logos (eg. Discovery) --Rat in a cage (talk) 23:30, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

the Eurosport 4k logo is also in black, as are the additional channels 3, 4 and 5. Flowering (talk) 11:11, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

@Flowering: On-screen the 4K square is still the same color, so I am a bit hesitant to change it. Perhaps just change "Eurosport" to black in that case? Is the 4K square in French TV listings also black? --Rat in a cage (talk) 11:14, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

the logo is indeed a black square with 4K in white in addition I have just watched the channel "Événement sport 4K" the logo which is at the top left of the screen has disappeared. Flowering (talk) 11:48, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

it is indeed the international version which is broadcast because it is in English but the comments will be in French. Flowering (talk) 19:13, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

@Flowering: Ok, thanks. I will change Eurosport 1-5 SD/HD to black soon, will leave 4K alone for now.
