In 2014, truTV reformatted as a comedy-based reality channel, then reformatted again as a part-time sports channel in 2023.

The Court TV brand would be relaunched as a diginet in 2019.

BBC America Originally dedicated to presenting a mixture of comedy, drama and lifestyle programs from BBC Television and other British television broadcasters including ITV and Channel 4. Today, it now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of AMC Networks focusing on American-made sci-fi and action series and films, as well as selected programs from the BBC (such as its nature documentary series).

The Biography Channel Originally featured factual programs, such as reruns of its namesake Biography shows, it now operates as FYI airing lifestyle programming, with a mix of reality, culinary, home renovation and makeover series.

History International Originally focused on international history; it was rebranded in 2011 as H2 and refocused to feature documentary content from the main History channel prior to its shift towards more reality programming. It then relaunched in 2016 as Viceland and later, Vice TV. Its programming consists of lifestyle-oriented documentaries and reality series aimed towards millennials.

Soapnet A network dedicated to airing soap operas as well as related programming. It is defunct as of December 31, 2013.

Discovery Kids Later rebranded as The Hub after Hasbro purchased a 40% stake in the network. Now operates as Discovery Family with relatively the same family-friendly format as before.

Noggin / The N Noggin was originally dedicated to airing preschool and educational shows for children ages 5-12.

The N was then introduced as a late-night block airing educational programming for older children and teens.

Both brands were eventually defunct, but Noggin was revived twice as a streaming service.

Nick 2 A secondary timeshift channel of Nickelodeon formerly available on the high-tier packages exclusively on cable providers as a complement to the main Nickelodeon feed, repackaging Nickelodeon's Eastern and Pacific Time Zone feeds for the appropriate time zone (the Pacific feed was distributed to the Eastern and Central Time Zones, and the Eastern feed was distributed to the Pacific and Mountain Time Zones) resulting in the difference in local airtimes for a particular program between two geographic locations being three hours at most. Network is now defunct as of 2018.

Nick Games and Sports for Kids A channel primarily oriented towards game shows and sport-related programming targeting a youth audience, much of which drawn from Nickelodeon's programming library. Channel is now defunct as of 2009.

Encore Wam Now operates as Starz Encore Family.

Toon Disney A companion network to Disney Channel, the channel's programming mostly included animated series, shorts, and features from Disney, as well as acquired programs. Channel defunct as of 2009 and replaced with Disney XD.

G4 Originally focused on programming revolving around the world of video games. It would then acquire TechTV and rebrand briefly as G4techTV before reverting to its original name. Shortly thereafter, the network was then pivoted to male-oriented programming, with occasional video gaming and tech-related shows still airing in certain slots. G4 was slated to be rebranded as Esquire Network in 2013, but Style Network was picked at the last minute, leaving G4 to decay until its eventual shut down on December 31, 2014.

The G4 brand and format would be revived in 2021 but ceased operations once again in 2022.

MTV2 Like its sister network MTV, it was an all-music video channel. Later around this year, MTV2 pivoted to a focus on reality and scripted shows with occasional music video programming.

MTV Español Like its sister network MTV, it aired music videos by Latin musicians. The network now operates as MTV Tr3́s, with programming targeted toward bilingual Latinos and non-Latino Americans aged 12 to 34.

MTV Jams Broadcasting hip-hop and R&B music videos. To this day, operates as BET Jams with relatively the same format as before.
