This is a list of channels on NTL that have been discontinued. Well, it's really a list of line-up changes on NTL.

General entertainment Channels which broadcast general programming and series including E4, Paramount Comedy 1 and Sky One
Factual and lifestyle Channels which broadcast educational programming such as Discovery Channel, History Channel and UKTV History or lifestyle programming such as UKTV Style, Discovery Home & Health and LIVINGtv
Movies Channels which broadcast films shown in cinemas such as Sky Movies, FilmFour and Turner Classic Movies
Sports Channels which broadcast sporting events or news such as British Eurosport, Sky Sports and MUTV
News Channels which broadcast news or current affairs programming such as Sky News, CNN and Bloomberg
Kids Channels which broadcast cartoons and programmes appealing to preschoolers, children and adolescents such as Jetix, Cartoon Network and Trouble
Adult Channels which broadcast programmes of a pornographic nature such as Television X, The Adult Channel and Private Blue
Shopping Channels which showcase products available to buy such as QVC, Thomas Cook TV and bid-up.tv
Music Channels which broadcast music videos such as MTV, VH1 and The Box
International Channels which broadcast from foreign countries (sometimes in foreign languages) such as Zee TV, B4U Movies and Sony Entertainment Television Asia
Religion Channels which broadcast programming decidated to a certain religion such as God Channel
Radio Channels which broadcast in audio only such as BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Virgin Radio
NTL Channels that are run by NTL
