This page contains a listing of cable lineups by municipally and/or privately run cable systems. By definition, a municipal cable system is one that is funded, owned, operated and maintained entirely by individual cities -- as a utility -- similarly to water, electric and natural gas, independent of established public and mainstream providers. Private cable can be cable systems maintained privately by an agency or apartment building. Non-profit (501(c)3) companies will also appear here.
